Email and text message notifications

We know it is hard to find that perfect property for your clients.  And we know you're tired of sifting through hip-pocket lists and news feeds trying to find what you're looking for.  We think we have the perfect solution!  Save your search criteria and set up a notification on The Unlisted.  As soon as a property that matches your search is added to The Unlisted you will receive a notification letting you know.  Pretty cool, right?  Read below on how to set this up on three easy steps.

Step 1: Create a search using the criteria of the property you're looking for
Log in to your The Unlisted account.

Go to the Search tab at the top of the page.

Enter as much or as little information as needed to define your search criteria.  For example:
     a) A specific MLS area 
     b) A type of property (e.g., single family)
     c) A price range ($min - $max)

Run the search by clicking the "Search " button at the bottom of the form.

Nothing comes up? No problem, follow steps 2-4 and you will still be notified when a property matching that criteria is added to The Unlisted.
Step 2: Click "Save This Search"
If an active hip-pocket property matches your search you will see the results.  Even if you don't find exactly what you're looking for click on "Save This Search".

If no active hip-pocket property matches your search, you can still click on "Save This Search" at the bottom of the search form.

The search criteria will be stored and any other properties matching that criteria will be sent to you over email or text message as soon as they're added.

[Optional: You can give your search a name (maybe your client's name?) by clicking on the "Rename" button]
Step 3: Set up your notifications
Go back to the top of the "Search" tab and click on "Enable Text Message Notifications"and/or "Enable Email Notifications"

"Enable Text Message Notifications" will ask you to input your cell phone number.

"Enable Email Notifications" will by default use the email you set up with your account.

That is it!  Next time a property is added that matches any of your saved searches you will receive a notification as a text message and/or email.

You will receive a text message and/or email every time a property is added that matches your saved search criteria.

Spend less time looking through hip-pocket lists or news feeds and more time working with your clients.

Tell your friends to post their hip-pockets on The Unlisted.  The easiest and fastest way for you to find what you're looking for!

Sharing properties with clients in 3 easy steps

Imagine that you find a property on The Unlisted that is a good fit for one of your clients.  You can easily share it with them giving them access to the functionality of The Unlisted while keeping things private!

Three important things to know
1) Your clients will only have access to the property you send, they will not be able to navigate on The Unlisted to any other pages.  Remember, browsing around on The Unlisted is reserved for agents only.

2) Your clients will receive the property page, but will not have the information of the listing agent.  Instead your own profile information on The Unlisted will be sent to them.

3) You can save your property search to a specific client.  This feature will allow you to easily see when a property has been added that meets your client criteria.  More on saved searches in a future post.
Step 1: Find the property you want to share
Look for the right property for your client either by:
     a) Browsing in the "All Properties" section, or 
     b) Conducting a "Search"
Step 2: Select "Copy Link" on the Share menu
Once you have identified the property, click on the "Share" button and select "Copy Link".

This is the most flexible option to share a property!

Clicking on "Copy Link" will generate a client customized link which you can copy and paste to your own email message.


Other options to Share properties include: 
- Print - Opens your printer utility and allows you to print the page you're on
- Email - Opens default email browser (usually Outlook) and drafts an email including the client customized link
- Facebook - Allows you to post the property on your Facebook wall
Step 3: Send the link to your client
The link created with the "Copy Link" option is unique in three ways:
a) It can be accessed by your client without an account on The Unlisted
b) It shows you as the agent presenting the property and excludes information on the listing agent.  Of course, you will work with the listing agent to pursue the transaction.
c) It won't allow your client to browse to any other pages on The Unlisted

Your client will be thrilled to receive your email and click on the link!  She will be able to browse through the photos, see the property on a map, and explore all the other information included by the listing agent in a clean and easy to use website.

Adding a new property in 4 easy steps

You can add properties to be shared with other agents with 4 easy steps.  
The more you share the more valuable The Unlisted will be to all of its users.

Step 1: Go to your "Dashboard" and click on "Add a New Property"





Step 2: Complete the "New Property" form.  Most of the fields are not required.  Click "Next".



Step 3: If you have them, add your photos by clicking on "Upload Property Photos"



Step 4: Click on "Actions - Submit this property" to send the property for review.


Voila! We will notify you when your property has been approved.
